We are sorry if the postage you are paying is more than you expected. Due to the recent price increase set forth by the Postal Service, businesses are taking a "hard hit" on shipping by Priority Mail. Even more so than the 5 cent increase on a first class letter. (Most in US History). Ironically, Priority is still the cheapest in most cases over parcel post. We try to only get what it cost and will refund you if you are charged for postage over and above that amount (sent in cash with your order).
Sometimes when you place an order, especially if you live in the Western part of the United States, the system may charge you an EXCESSIVE amount of postage since your package is being shipped from South Carolina. The system cannot take into account that a lot of times your package will ship in a "Flat Rate" package. It can only figure "Regular Priority Mail", which would probably be right with the amount that you were charged. (The heavier the package, the more postage it calculates.) We always issue you a "cash refund" for "too much postage" with your order since we cannot access your credit card. 95% of the time, it is pretty accurate, but we do run into shipments that we do issue you a refund. So don't worry! We will look out for our customers.
